The Weight Of Knowing
This project examines the emotional complexities of gender dysphoria through everyday objects encountered in daily routines. The images of my mirror, hairbrush, and socks paired with personal writing, recontextualize these mundane objects to reveal the quiet, emotional weight of gender dysphoria. The work exposes the often unspoken realities of living with dysphoria, challenging viewers to reconsider their perceptions of the material world and encouraging reflection on how identity intersects with art, language, and ordinary experiences.
