About Zed

Zed is a non-binary storyteller and photographer based in Toronto, currently studying at OCAD University. Their work captures the true spirit of life's most authentic moments, exploring gender identity, self-perception, and the energy of human connection. Music has always been Zed's comfort, transforming their concert photography into something more than just documentation, an emotional journey that captures the spirit of live performances. That deep, personal bond with music shapes Zed’s photographic approach, allowing them to capture not just images but powerful visual narratives.  Zed’s photography delves into the body as a site of transformation, tension, and reclamation. Through their lens, they showcase the fluidity of identity, the weight of dysphoria, and the silent dialogues we have within ourselves. Their work invites viewers to see the human experience in all its beauty and complexity. Their photographs witness the power of visual storytelling as an act of confession, liberation, and healing.
